Family Rise Together

Housing Programs & Services

Family Rise Together offers many different housing programs and services to find, sustain, or transition to safe, quality, affordable housing in Minnesota. Many of our services can be leveraged together. Our Housing Navigators and staff are passionate about helping to end homelessness and serve individuals with respect, dignity, and empathy. We listen to your needs and desires and help you develop and implement a plan that promotes housing stability to improve quality of life with person-centered planning and support services.

Housing Stabilization Services (HSS)

A new Minnesota Medical Assistance benefit to help people with disabilities, including mental illness and substance use disorder, and seniors find and keep housing. We currently serve St. Louis County, Carlton County, Pine County, and Itasca County.

Housing Trust Fund Rental Assistance (HTF)

Provides temporary rental assistance, housing related expenses such as application fees and security deposits, and services to achieve housing stability and transition to permanent sustainable housing opportunities.

Family Homeless Prevention Assistance Program (FHPAP)

Provides a one-time payment to cover late rent, rental application fees, late mortgage, rent deposits, first month’s rent, utilities, transportation assistance, vital documents, moving expenses, furniture, household supplies, and work clothing.

Pursue Housing

Pursue Housing is a program of Family Rise Together that includes three houses with nine units of housing located in Duluth, MN. We house all people, with an emphasis on fathers or father-figures that identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color (BIPOC) who are seeking Long Term Housing support with case management services.
